Women aged 50-74 who have not had a mammogram in the last two years are invited to take part in the annual Mammothon breast screening campaign.
Olser will hold a one-day breast screening blitz at the Peel Memorial Centre (PMC) on Oct. 25.
Last year, 28 women had mammograms at Peel Memorial during Mammothon – the highest turnout among 29 participating Mammothon Day 2017 sites.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Ontario and regular screening can find breast cancers when they are small, less likely to have spread and more likely to be treated successfully.
