January 31, 2012 - Brampton's Shoppers Drug Marts presented a cheque for $23,433 to Osler Foundation on January 26. The funds are from Shopper's annual ‘Tree of Life' campaign. Since 2006, the Shoppers Drug Mart's Brampton Stores have been supporting Osler through its this annual campaign, raising a total of $103,773 in that time - all of which supports Women's Heart health.

February 2, 2012 - The public was invited to an information and discussion session to learn about the plans for renovating and expanding the hospital to accommodate the growing demand for services from a growing community. EGH first opened in 1972. The emergency room was built to serve 40,000 patients a year. Today, emergency room visits have increased to 66,000.

January 26, 2012 - The Habs Alumni team of hockey legends including Guy Carbonneau, Jocelyn Lemieux, Patrice Brisebois and Stéphane Richer made history in a charity game against the Osler Crusaders, a team made up of Osler physicians, staff and supporters. 1,100 people bought tickets to the January 18th game at the Powerade Centre in Brampton. proceeds from the event totalled $20,000.
