Inpatient units provide assessment and acute treatment for adults with major mental illness.

Four inpatient units provide assessment and acute treatment for adults with major mental illness including mood and anxiety disorders, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders. A Geriatric Mental Health unit provides acute treatment for seniors with major mental disorders.

The CIT Process
Clinicians screen the patient and provide a brief assessment and referral. The referral may be for a consultation, consultation and treatment, or telephone advice, depending on the patient’s needs.
