Business Development and Partnership Opportunities

To accomplish our mission of “innovative health care delivered with compassion,” William Osler Health System looks to non-Ministry revenue sources to augment government funding. Ontario hospitals typically receive annual funding from the government that covers 75 per cent to 80 per cent of our costs, leaving a gap for hospitals to fill in order to meet patient care demands and balance budgets.

To meet these targets William Osler Heath System relies on and is constantly looking for new business development and partnership opportunities, some of which currently include:

  • Retail Space (Including Retail Food Services)
  • Partnerships/joint ventures
    • Philips Lifeline
Easy-to-use personal response service that lets discharged patients summon help any time of the day or night!
    • ProResp Oxygen
      Provider of home respiratory services
  • Affinity Programs
    • Valet Automotive Services
    • Patient Visitor Lodging/Accommodations
  • Advertising
  • Real Estate Investments
    • Medical Office Building
  • Research Opportunities
  • Consulting Opportunities
  • Redevelopment/Construction Opportunities
  • Fundraising
  • Volunteer Association
    • Gift Shop
    • Lottery Sales
