The Division of Respirology in the Department of Medicine is seeking a full-time adult respirologist to be based in Brampton. The successful candidate would join a group of six active, enthusiastic respirologists at the Brampton Civic Hospital site to offer:
- Inpatient sub-specialty consultation service (no MRP obligation)
- Hospital-based ambulatory respirology clinic
- Outpatient office practice to serve our community
- Contribution to medical education
Interest in participating in our malignant pleural effusion program will be an asset. For those interested, there is an opportunity to pursue general internal medicine or hospitalist medicine work if desired. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.
Qualifications
The candidates must have a Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have certification in Respirology from the College of Physicians of Canada and hold Fellowship in Respirology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or its equivalent. Candidates who will be sitting their Royal College examination in 2025 are encouraged to apply. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.
