Osler’s appointment reminders is a weblink for patients to register, view and manage their outpatient appointments. You can successfully confirm/manage your appointments from the comfort of your home and save time checking in when you arrive.
To enroll, ensure you provide a cell phone number or email address at the time of booking your appointment so that you receive a text or email reminder before your appointment with details about date, time and location of your appointment and a ‘confirm’ weblink will be included on these reminders.
Confirming your appointment
24–48 hours prior to your appointment, access the link in the text or email reminder and touch the ‘confirm’ button.
Note: make sure to update your demographic information for a successful check-in when you arrive to the hospital. If you must cancel or reschedule, call the clinic phone number that is in your text or email reminder.
Checking in for a successful confirmed appointment
- On the day of your appointment, arrive on time.
- You can scan your health card at the kiosk to just receive paper directions/call number ticket (no further questions are asked) or go back to the text or email and touch the ‘I’m here’ button to start registration.
- Once registered, touch the ‘directions’ button for directions to the clinic and the call number for your appointment if you don’t have a paper copy.
- Proceed to the clinic.
Checking in for a non-successful appointment
If the confirmation of your appointment was not successful, scan your card at the kiosk, answer the questions (if asked) and receive a ticket. The ticket will direct you to see a registration clerk.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use my computer instead of a phone to confirm and manage my appointments? |
If you receive an email reminder with the weblink, you can confirm and manage your appointments from home. You will need to scan your health card at the kiosk to check-in that you have arrived and receive a paper direction ticket/call number or if the link is in your email and accessible from your phone, you can use the ‘I’m here’ button to check in instead. |
Do I have to use the weblink to confirm? |
No, you can arrive and use the kiosk to check-in and answer the questions on-site instead and receive a paper directions/call number ticket. |
How do I receive the web confirm link? |
When booking an appointment, ask to have a reminder sent by text or email. |
How can I view my booked appointments? |
You are given an option to create an account when you confirm your appointment. You can always click the weblink from an appointment reminder, login and view all your appointments. Note: You may see some of your appointments in ‘view only’ status. This means the particular clinic is not currently set up to use the weblink so you cannot confirm your appointment. The clinic will instead call you to confirm your appointment details. |
Can more than one family member be confirmed on the same phone or computer? |
Yes, a separate text or email can be sent to the same phone or email address for each appointment/family member. Each reminder link is unique for that appointment. You can confirm each person by going to each individual text or email separately 24-48 hours before the appointment date. |
I am at the facility; how do I check-in for my appointment? |
Go back to the text or email link to touch the ‘I’m here’ button or just scan your health card on the kiosk when you arrive. |
What if I use the Osler Appointment app on my phone now? |
The Osler Appointment app is no longer available. Delete the app on your phone and use the link in the reminders message instead. |
