The Board of Directors has oversight of the management of Osler’s operations. Among its responsibilities, the Board provides input into and has accountability for the following:
- strategic planning;
- mission, vision and values;
- quality and performance;
- financial stewardship;
- selection of, supervision of, and succession planning for the President and CEO and the Chief of Staff;
- risk identification;
- stakeholder relations, communication and accountability;
- governance; and
- legal compliance.

Osler is seeking strategic and engaged individuals to join the Board of Directors or one of our board committees as a community member representative.
While we welcome applicants with a variety of skill sets and from all backgrounds, we are in need for individuals who have the following expertise:
- Black health lens
- Finance (preferably with a Chartered Professional Accountant designation)
- Government relations/public relations/strategic communications
- Information technology/innovation
