Health Services and Quality Committee
The Health Services and Quality Committee is advisory in nature and reports to Osler's Board of Directors. It makes recommendations to the Board of Directors to ensure that appropriate systems and structures are in place to monitor and manage quality, patient safety, risk and health services.

Wendy Beckles, Community Member |
Wendy has diversified professional experience across multiple sectors including oil and gas, non-profit and health care. She is currently the President and CEO of Shepherd Village Inc., a large seniors’ community in Scarborough, serving over 900 seniors with 600 staff and volunteers, across an innovative campus of care. In her professional career, Wendy executes management and leadership disciplines to drive process improvement, organizational excellence and service quality. However, Wendy is also driven by her faith and passion for volunteering and mentoring youth. In 2007, Wendy cofounded the Canadian Multicultural LEAD Organization for Mentoring and Training, a charity which has impacted the lives of over 7,000 youth and seniors through intergenerational programs. Whether in the workplace, through volunteering or serving on boards and professional committees, Wendy brings critical thinking, insight and innovation, always with a person-centred approach. |
Resources and Audit Committee
The Resources and Audit Committee is advisory in nature and reports to Osler’s Board of Directors. It makes recommendations to the Board of Directors to ensure that the hospital effectively uses its financial, physical and information resources and the committee monitors the audit process, internal controls and engagement of external auditors.
