Our COPD education clinic will help you understand:

• how COPD affects your lungs
• your medications and why, when and how to take them
• what causes a COPD “flare up” and how to avoid one
• when to seek medical attention

Referrals

You need a physician's referral to make an appointment with this clinic. If you would like to attend, please speak with your doctor.

If you are admitted to hospital, you may also be referred to an Urgent COPD Clinic when you are discharged. This will help you get follow-up therapy, if needed.

Pulmonary rehabilitation program

Our pulmonary rehabilitation program is for people with chronic lung disease. This program offers education and exercise to help you:

• become more physically active
• learn how to manage breathlessness
• improve your quality of life
