These sites offer tools and information to support your self-improvement and happiness.

  • BounceBack
    BounceBack offers immediate access to online self-help videos. With a doctor's referral, self-help workbooks and telephone coaching are also available.

  • Mind Your Mind
    Mind Your Mind provides information on where and how to get help, as well as ways to promote wellness.

  • Reach Out
    Reach Out offers support, self-help tools and tips to manage everyday issues.

  • Foundry
    This great resource offers links to workbooks, self-help resources, websites and phone apps.

  • Mind

  • Peel Children's Centre

While waiting for our program, please access the following websites to start your journey to recovery.

  • Mood Gym
    This interactive program uses cognitive behavioural therapy and interpersonal therapy techniques to address depression and anxiety. Please note there is a cost to create an account.

  • E-Couch
    This free, interactive self-help program includes modules for depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, loss and grief.

  • FearFighter
    FearFighter is a computer-based program for treating panic and phobias. Please note there is a cost to create an account.

  • Evolution Health Care
    This free, interactive online program is divided into sessions that you can work through at your own pace. A private community of other members supports you on your journey.

  • CMHA Mental Health Meter
    Through this site, you can complete a quick quiz to see how you score on mental health.

Make use of your device with these mental health apps to manage your anxiety and depression.

Mindfulness

  • Headspace
    This app helps provide guided meditations to help you bring mindfulness into your daily life. While there is a cost for the full version of this app, you can access a few sessions at no cost.

  • Calm
    This app provides over 100 guided meditations to help you manage anxiety, lower stress and sleep better.

  • Breathe2Relax
    Through this app you can practice deep breathing, which has been shown to help with managing mood, anger and anxiety.

  • Pranayamafree
    This app provides guided deep breathing exercises based on the principles of yoga, to help you find balance and stress relief.

  • Stop, Breathe and Think
    This app allows you to “check in” with your emotions and recommends short, guided meditations based on how you are feeling.

  • Zenview
    This app provides visuals such as rainfall along with tranquil sounds that help you relax and focus on the present moment (Apple App Store only).

    MindShift™ is an app to help teens and young adults cope with anxiety. It can help you change how you think and focus on facing, rather than avoiding, anxiety.

  • Social Anxiety Management (SAM)
    The Social Anxiety Management (SAM) app provides a variety of self-help methods for people who want to learn to manage their anxiety. This app provides 25 self-help topics, including:

    BoosterBuddy is a free app designed to help teens and young adults improve their mental health. A sidekick guides you through a series of daily quests designed to establish and sustain positive habits. App features include:

  • Healthy Minds
    This problem-solving app can help you deal with emotions and cope with stresses.

  • Always There
    This is a free app that connects you with a Kids Help Phone counsellor five days a week so you can chat one-on-one with someone about what's going on in your life. You can talk about anything; the information is confidential and anonymous for young people living in Canada.

  • Suicide Safety Plan
    This app is designed to support people dealing with suicidal thoughts and help prevent suicide by creating a safety plan.

  • MY3
    This app helps you define your network and your plan to stay safe. With MY3 you can be prepared to help yourself and reach out to others when you are having thoughts of suicide.
