2023 New Year’s baby arrives at Etobicoke General Hospital

The team at William Osler Health System’s (Osler) Etobicoke General Hospital is pleased to announce its first baby of 2023, who arrived early this morning at 12:04 a.m. Mom Teshanda Gilling and Dad Blake Sedore of Bolton welcomed baby girl Brooke, who weighed in at eight pounds, four ounces.

Big brother Blake is also happy to welcome Brooke to the family.

On behalf of everyone at Osler, we extend our best wishes and congratulations to the family and thank Shoppers Drug Mart – Westwood Mall store at 7205 Goreway Drive in Mississauga, for the generous donation of a large gift basket of baby items.

Osler is comprised of Etobicoke General Hospital, Brampton Civic Hospital and Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness. Osler’s labour and delivery program is one of the largest in Ontario – in 2021/22, 7,012 babies were born at Brampton Civic and Etobicoke General.
