Outpatient Services

At Osler, we are pleased to offer a wide range of clinics to meet our patients' needs.

Please note you need a referral from your primary care provider or specialist to make an appointment at these clinics. Appointments are fully covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).

Outpatient clinics

Osler outpatient clinics support our medical, surgical, chronic disease and emergency programs. At our clinics, health care professionals:

• assess patient needs
• diagnose illnesses and conditions
• provide treatment and/or therapy, and
• offer resources and information to support patients and their families.

Fracture and plastics clinic

Our fracture and plastics clinics offer consultation, fracture management, and surgical follow-up care for all age groups.

Subspecialties include:

• general fractures
• shoulders
• hands and wrists
• hips
• feet and ankles
• wounds (Etobicoke site only)

Our specialists work together to provide safe, high-quality care. Depending on your needs, your care team may include an orthopaedic or plastic surgeon, orthopaedic technician, physiotherapist, occupational therapist and nurse. Find answers to frequently asked questions about these clinics.

Musculoskeletal program

Our Musculoskeletal program helps people with joint pain. In partnership with Home and Community Care Support Services Central West, the program includes several clinics:

• Low Back Pain Rapid Access Clinic
• Hip and Knee Joint Osteoarthritis Rapid Access Clinic
• Rheumatology Early Arthritis Clinic
