Rehabilitation Services

We offer inpatient rehabilitation services at both Brampton Civic and Etobicoke General. If you've been admitted for acute care, our experts will help restore your physical strength, mobility and independence. Our team has experience working with patients who have neurological, medical, orthopedic and other complex medical conditions.

We currently offer two rehabilitation options:

  • Our general rehabilitation program is located at Brampton Civic. This program is for patients who need intensive therapies to rebuild their strength and independence. The length and frequency of your sessions is based on your needs.
  • Our functional enhancement services (FES) program is located at Etobicoke General. It is for patients who require rehabilitation over an extended period of time. Patients in this program often have several chronic or complex conditions and benefit from low-intensity rehabilitation.

In both programs, we work with you to improve your independence, mobility and ability to perform daily activities. The length of your program will depend on your needs.

Together, we will determine how much rehabilitation you require. While it is not always possible to return to your previous level of function, we are here to help you progress towards your goals.
