Osler's May 2025 Telephone Town Hall

Osler’s leadership shared the latest hospital updates during our Telephone Town Hall on May 21, including progress on the new Peel Memorial Hospital (which recently celebrated its groundbreaking), Osler’s affiliation with Toronto Metropolitan University’s new School of Medicine, Osler’s Research Institute for Health Innovation, innovative academic practice partnerships to enhance patient care and more.

Residents had a chance to ask questions, share feedback and engage in meaningful conversation with hospital leaders about issues that matter most to them.

The Telephone Town Hall was hosted by Dr. Frank Martino, Osler’s President and CEO. He was joined by a panel of Osler senior leaders including Michael Torrance, Osler Board Director; Scott Patterson, Vice President, Facilities Operations and Capital Development; Kiki Ferrari, Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer; Tiziana Rivera, Executive Vice President, Quality, Research and Chief Nursing Executive; Dr. Hemant Shah, Vice President, Academics; Yasir Khalid, Director, People-Centered Care and Health Justice; and Osler Foundation leadership.
