Your voice, your hospital: Join Osler’s community Telephone Town Hall on September 17
Be part of the conversation on digital innovation, Peel Memorial's transformation, academic growth and the future of care in our community
William Osler Health System (Osler) invites community members to join its upcoming Telephone Town Hall on Thursday, September 17, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The one-hour virtual event offers an opportunity to hear directly from Osler's President and CEO, and other senior leaders about its key priorities shaping the future of health care in our community, including:
- Osler's new health information system and the benefits for patients, including a new MyChart
platform - Progress on transforming Peel Memorial into Brampton's second hospital
- Osler's role as a community teaching hospital with more than 1,000 learners annually
- Osler’s latest innovations in patient care, education and research
During the event, community members can ask questions, share feedback and take part in live polling.
The community Telephone Town Hall will be hosted by Dr. Frank Martino, Osler’s President and CEO, and moderated by Hema Ramlochan-Tuitt, a dedicated member of Osler’s Patient and Family Advisory Council. They will also be joined by a panel of Osler senior leaders:
- Pardeep Singh Gill, Chair of Osler’s Board of Directors
- Shelagh Barry, Interim President and CEO, Osler Foundation
- Kiki Ferrari, Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer
- Scott Patterson, Vice President, Facilities Operations and Capital Development
- Dr. Hemant Shah, Vice President, Academics and Research
- David Stankiewicz, Vice President, Digital Transformation and Chief Information and Privacy Officer
- Mary Jane McNally, Chief Patient Experience Officer

How to participate: On Thursday, September 17, starting at 6:50 p.m., Osler will call residents via landline
to connect them directly to the community Telephone Town Hall. To participate, residents can also pre-register with the phone number of their choice as well as submit questions in advance online or leave a voicemail with their name and phone number at (416) or (905) 494-2120 ext. 50200 before 12:00 p.m. on September 17, 2026. The event will be recorded for promotional and archival purposes.
