William Osler Health System, which operates COVID-19 Testing Centres in Brampton and Etobicoke, is moving both Testing Centres to indoor locations, starting the week of December 7.

As Sikhs and other followers around the world celebrate Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birthday today, William Osler Health System is using the occasion to recognize the local Sikh community for their contributions toward Brampton Civic Hospital.

William Osler Health System is inviting community residents to participate in an upcoming Telephone Town Hall. 

To say it’s been a busy year for health care is a massive understatement. But in addition to fighting COVID-19, the team at William Osler Health System continues to deliver other critical health care services for the community.

Everyone has tripped, stumbled, slipped, or tumbled at some point in their lives, but for people aged 65 and older, falls can be more serious. 85 percent of injury-related hospitalizations for seniors are caused by falls and half of these occur in their own homes.

This month, William Osler Health System would have sent its eighth delegation of staff and physicians to visit, share with, and learn from hospitals in India and Pakistan through the Sun Life Osler Global Health Program.

William Osler Health System’s Brampton COVID-19 Testing Centre at South Fletcher’s Sportsplex is temporarily closed for repairs after the outdoor facility sustained some damage during a severe wind storm on Sunday, November 15.

William Osler Health System has increased the hours of operation for its COVID-19, Cold and Flu Clinic located at Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness. 

Since 1986, Marlin Morrell has been a dedicated volunteer at William Osler Health System’s Etobicoke General Hospital.
