Medical Learners

As a community teaching site for learners from the University of Toronto and McMaster University, Osler offers placements for medical students, residents and fellows enrolled in a Canadian medical school.

Clinical education campus

Osler is a clinical education campus (CEC) of McMaster University and is designated as an academic community teaching hospital of the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine. Osler’s CEC joined the McMaster Community and Rural Education (Mac-CARE) program in 2018 and provides clinical medical education for McMaster undergraduate and postgraduate learners at all three hospital sites. To learn more about Osler’s CEC, please visit the Mac-CARE program website.

We are committed to providing medical students, residents and fellows the necessary knowledge, skills and support required to become competent and caring healthcare professionals.
